Search projects

Basic search options

You can search through the Jira system fields like the Project key or the Project lead. But you can also do so by searching through the Project name or key in the search bar.

Search criteria

If you need to search through more criteria you can select a field you want to search by from the More dropdown, then select a field, and then a value from the newly added filter.

To work with the list, status, or priority filters you can select one option from a list of values, or type in the text box to search for matching values.

To work with the user picker field, you will only see ten results are displayed. To view more, start typing the name of the user you are searching for.

To work with date fields, you can select a specific date and search by the same date, before or after.

To work with the project field, you will only see ten results are displayed. To view more, start typing the name of the user you are searching for.

To work with text fields, you can search by a specific text.

To work with duration, formula or number fields, you can enter a specific number and search by the same number, less or greater.

Remove a filter criteria

To remove filter criteria, click on the "x" next to the name of the field. Please note that when a search criterion has a selected value it appears in blue.
