Selecting the start date

It is possible to specify in Workload if you wish to use a specific custom field as the start date for calculating workloads instead of using the current date:

As the image shows, no custom field is selected by default, meaning the workloads will be calculated using the current date as the start date.

Assume there are four issues with the following information:

These are the workload values shown in Workload for user “Xavi Alonso”. There is no specific custom field used for the start date:

As we can see, the workloads are calculated using the current date as the start date.

If the “Start Date” custom field is used as the start date, Workload will recalculate the workloads using each field’s “Start Date” as the start date:
