How are Projectrak layouts migrated?

All Projectrak layouts are migrated on the first migration.

Suggestions

After the first migration, we suggest to:

  1. Not rename layouts.

  2. Not modify any layout that was already migrated.

 

Whether you work on Server/Datacenter or Cloud you will only find one Predefined Layout. This Layout cannot be deleted but it can be edited.

When migrating from Server/Datacenter to Cloud, the Predefined Layout information will be carried over to Cloud only in the first migration, does not matter if it is later renamed. This means that if you have done several migrations, and during that period the predefined layout was modified in Server/Data Center, those changes will not be applied in the predefined layout on Cloud.

A non-predefined layout will only be migrated when it does not exist by name in Cloud:

  • If layout does not exist by name in Cloud, a new layout will be created

  • If layout exists by name already in Cloud, this layout will not be updated
