Automation for Jira

Automation for Jira

Integration between Projectrak and Automation for Jira on Cloud is achieved through calls to Projectrak web services — not through a user interface integration.

Browse the flows below, all based on real customer scenarios, to replicate them in your instance or get inspired to build your own automation rules based on project data.

⚡ Actions

Trigger changes in Projectrak fields based on Jira events. For example: update a project end date, populate a status field, or create a project after a work item transition.

🔀 Conditions

Evaluate Projectrak project data to drive Jira automation logic. For example: set a work item priority based on project health, or associate a layout when a field changes.

Before you start

To use Automation for Jira with Projectrak, you first need to set up an authorization → Setup - ⚙️ Create a Projectrak authorization

If your flows are project-scoped (rather than instance-wide), you will also need to define the scope of your projects → Setup - ⚙️ Define the scope of projects in a rule
