Configure mail server

This server is used for sending emails related to scheduled exports. The first step would be to access the Mail Server configuration screen by going to Jira menu > Manage your Apps > Exporter administration

You will see that none of the configurations are set. To configure these settings, select the configure mail server button.

Here you will need to enter the information from your Mail Server and save it. Now, the Mail server should be configured and you be able to schedule exports.

To improve Exporter it is very useful for us to collect anonymous information about its use for statistical purposes. We inform about the type of information we collect and its purposes and goals.

Permissions

To view the permissions for Exporter, go to Jira settings > Global permissions > Access to Exporter app

 

This section is only for Jira admins: In this section they decide which user groups have access to Exporter and can add or delete as many groups as they want.
