(8.7.1) Integrity checker and fixer

Checking the integrity of the Projectrak database

In this section, you will learn how to use the Integrity Checker feature to find database errors with fields, values, and layouts.

You need Jira administrator permissions to access this feature.

  1. Go to the Jira administration section
  2. Click on the Manage Apps section.
  3. In the left side menu, under the Projectrak section, click on the integrity checker link.

4. There are several checks that you can run to check the data integrity in the Projectrak tables at Jira's Database:

  1. Fields table
  2. Items table
  3. Layouts table
  4. Layout project associations table
  5. Layout items table
  6. Values table

5. Click on the check button to run the checks that you have selected

6. If everything is OK you will see a green check next to the section. If not, you will see the errors found:

Fixing integrity errors that might be found.

If after running a full check errors are found, the sections will show a yellow warning icon which by expanding the result, will show the error that was found.

These errors can be fixed by selecting the fix errors button and, a few moments later, they will be automatically fixed

By selecting the Restart button, you will go back to the start of the process where you can run a full integrity check again, and verify that the errors have been fixed.

Please, keep in mind that not all errors can be fixed with the Integrity Fixer, so if you notice that after selecting "Fix errors", the are errors that persist, contact us, so we can help you solve them.
