With Excel format you can get flexible data analysis, customized reports, data sharing, and record-keeping outside the platform.

In the excel file you will find:

  • Color differentiation:

    • Purple: Issue columns

    • Orange: Comments

    • Green: Transitions

  • Structured headers: The headers will be organized into one row.

  • Text alignment: The text fields will be aligned at the top in all cells.

  • Merged cells avoided: When exporting, there will be no merged cells hat hinder sorting and filtering of data.

  • Linkable columns: The key column is linkable to facilitate navigation from the file to Jira.

  1. By default, every row is an issue, but, if you export transitions or comments the rows will be merged and you could have more than one row per issue

  2. Columns are fields, comments data, transition data, or approval data.
