Problem
After upgrading Jira, upgrading Projectrak, and restarting Jira, we cannot access the Jira instance due to a 500 error message.
...
This is not a common issue. But you can experience this after upgrading both Jira and Projectrak. This These are the recommended steps in order to have access to your instance again and be able to use Projectrak as expected:
- Delete all the Projectrak related files in Jira's folders, by navigating through this path: Atlassian > Application Data > Jira > plugins > installed plugins,
Projectrak (Profields) plugin.
Profields.ogsi
Profields.bundle.
2. Restart Jira.
3. Once Jira has started as expected, install Projectrak's latest version, which you will find in the Atlassian Marketplace: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1210816/projectrak-project-tracking-for-jira/version-history
This will solve your problem and will allow you to work with Jira and Projectrak as expected.
