Timeline view will allow you to show a big picture of the duration and current status of your projects. The Timeline view is the third view of Projectrak and you can access it through the project navigator and then by clicking on the Timeline tab:

| On the left, is where your projects are located, and you can order them by their name.

| For each project, you can see a bar in the timeline depending on:

| If your project has only one date filled, you will see a gradient on the missing date. |
| The bar color will depend on the Status field, by default (if you don't have modified it) these will be the available colors:

| If the project has no value in the status field, you will see a white bar. |
| If the dates are before or after the displayed period, by hovering the mouse over the project, an arrow will appear. Press it to travel to the project's dates.

| When you choose "Week" as a unit, you will have two kinds of vertical lines:

| An orange vertical line will indicate the current day. |
| Double-click on an empty line to create a new bar |
| Drag the bar at the beginning or the end to change dates |
If you like to order by another field, you can use the advanced search mode and do it through PQL.
It is not possible to configure the dates you are showing. If you are using other dates, please, use the Start date and End date predefined fields.
