Lite projects
A Lite project is a new entity in Projectrak. They will be like Jira projects but without their complexity. You will be able to add values and link them to Jira epics, tasks, bugs… This will also allow you to combine product development with specific projects. What does this mean? Just as digital products are living entities that are in continuous evolution, projects have a deadline and delivery. Thanks to the Lite projects, PMOs will be able to manage both products (Jira projects) and projects (Lite projects).
The Lite projects of Projectrak are currently in the Beta phase, which means they will undergo updates and enhancements throughout 2025. We welcome any feedback you may have, so please feel free to reach out to us. Contact Support
How to create a Lite project?
To create a Lite project, you just need to click on the blue button.
When you click, a modal will open where you can write the project name and associate a key with it.
Click on "Save" and you will be able to see the Lite project in the different views of the Project Navigator (List, board, and timeline).
Whenever you want to modify both the name and the key, you can do so by accessing it from the icon button.
If you want to delete a Lite project, you can also do it from the same icon button.
What can I do with the Lite project?
In the List view, you can search, filter, and update values of Lite projects, just like we do with Jira projects.
In the Board view, Lite projects can be moved between different columns to modify values such as status, priority…
In the Timeline view, you will be able to create milestones associated with the Lite projects.
