Understanding the Timeline view

On the left, is where your projects are located, and you can order them by their name.

If you like to order by another field, you can use the advanced search mode and do it through PQL.

For each project, you can see a bar in the timeline depending on:

  • Start date

  • End date

It is not possible to configure the dates you are showing. If you are using other dates, please, use the Start date and End date predefined fields.

If your project has only one date filled, you will see a gradient on the missing date.

The bar color will depend on the Status field, by default (if you don't have modified it) these will be the available colors:

OF TRACK , AT RISK, on track , PENDING , PAUSED and DONE

If the project has no value in the status field, you will see a white bar.

If the dates are before or after the displayed period, by hovering the mouse over the project, an arrow will appear. Press it to travel to the project's dates.

If the date is in the past, the arrow will appear on the left. If the date is in the future, the arrow will appear on the right.

When you choose "Week" as a unit, you will have two kinds of vertical lines:

  • Month indicator

  • Week indicator

An orange vertical line will indicate the current day.
