In Projectrak Server/Data Center, “Projectrak Administrator” permission is created and can be configured from Projectrak administration page. This permission cannot be migrated to Cloud. Instead, it is located within “Jira Global permissions” with the name “Configure Projectrak".

This situation can create discrepancies between user permissions when it comes to managing Projectrak’s fields or layouts, and it can also prevent the user from associating layouts to different projects.

 How to avoid missing permissions?

There are two options:

    1. When Server/Data Center “All project administrators are also Projectrak Administrators” toggle is ON, all users and groups with Project Administrator role in every project will be able to administer Projectrak:

    2. In Cloud, you can achieve the same configuration by adding the Group of users to the "Configure Projectrak" permission in the Jira “Global permissions” page:
