Projectrak Server/Datacenter created permission called “Projectrak Administrator”, which can be configured from Projectrak’s administration page. This permission cannot be migrated to Cloud. Instead, it is located within “Jira Global permissions” and it is called “Configure Projectrak".

This situation can create discrepancies between user permissions when it comes to managing Projectrak’s fields or layouts, and it can also prevent the user from associating layouts to different projects.

How to avoid missing permissions

There are two options:

1. When in Server/Datacenter “All project administrators are also Projectrak Administrators” toggle is ON, all users and groups with Project Administrator role in every project will be able to administer Projectrak.

In Cloud, you can achieve the same configuration by adding the Group of users to the "Configure Projectrak" permission in the “Jira Global permissions” page.

2. When in Server/Datacenter “All project administrators are also Projectrak Administrators” toggle is OFF, there might be groups and users added as Projectrak Administrator

In Cloud, you can achieve the same configuration by adding the Group of users to the "Configure Projectrak" permission in the “Jira Global permissions” page.
