This article will guide you through the process to bulk link issues with Exporter. With just a few clicks you will be able to link as many issues you want to a third one.

Step 1: Go to Exporter from the Jira Issue Navigator and select issues that you want to export

Once you have the results of the filters in the Issue Navigator, click on Exporter Button and Export now or schedule an export

Step 2: Choose issues to export

Once you are in the first Exporter Screen you can uncheck the issues that you don't want to export, by default all the issues are selected and then click on "Continue with # issues"

The next step is to select the format of the export. Between all of them, select Link to issue and thenclick on "Continue with # issues"

You can choose between two options:

  • New issue: This option will create a new issue and link all issue with this one.

  • Existing issue: This option will link all issues with one chosen by you in next steps.

Step 3: New Issue

Select the link type and then click to issue and then "Continue with # issues"

Step 4: Final check

Check the summary of your export and then click on Link to issue.

Step 5: Create the issue

Fill the creation issue form and then click on Create

Step 6: Result

After processing the issues, you will see a confirmation message a link to the the new issue that contains all links

Step 3: Existing Issue

Select the link type and the issue to link and then click to issue and , then "Continue with # issues".

Step 4: Final check

Check the summary of your export and then click on Link to issue.

Step 5: Result

After processing the issues, you will see a confirmation message with a link to the issue that contains all links.
